Dominique Dawes Spotted At The Olympics With Natural Hair. We haven’t seen Dominique Dawes in quite some years, but you may remember her from her from the 1996 Olympic games being apart of the fantastic Seven who won gold that year. She was also the first African American woman to win an individual Olympic medal in artistic gymnastics and the first Black person of any nationality or gender to win an Olympic gold medal in gymnastics. She was recently spotted enjoying the games at the Olympics and proudly sporting her naturally curly texture. Peep her below. She even got to sit next to the first lady!
