One of the key things to remember when transitioning to natural is that your hair needs to be properly moisturized. That’s of course the case with all hair type, whether you’re natural, relaxed or texlaxed, but if you’re transitioning it’s even more imperative….
The reason why your hair needs even more moisture is simply because where your natural hair meets & your relaxed hair ends is the most fragile area of the hair shaft. So keeping it moisturized is key in preventing breakage.
The L.O.C method was created a few years ago and is used frequently be transitioners and naturals to keep their hair strands filled with optimal amounts of moisture.
